Ben Rich is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, with over 20 years of
experience at FirstEnergy and its subsidiaries and at Energy Harbor.
Ben specializes in Governmental Aggregation where he has spent the past 15 years of his career. In this capacity, Ben has personally managed relationships and retention for a portfolio exceeding 1.6 million customers, while overseeing the maintenance and growth of retail government aggregation programs that generated approximately $1.2
billion in annual sales. His responsibilities include providing education and process services to potential customers, brokering energy deals, ensuring regulatory
compliance, staying informed on industry trends and competitors, and contributing to initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business performance.
Ben holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Business Administration and Political Science from Baldwin Wallace University. His skill set encompasses analysis, forecasting, energy markets, financial modeling, data analysis, commodity markets, business analysis, and energy efficiency.
On a personal note, Ben is married to his wife, Heather, and is the proud father of two
sons, Landon and Haydon. He finds immense joy in coaching his sons’s baseball teams
and cherishes vacations spent with his family. Ben is a passionate Cleveland sports fan and long time Cleveland Browns season ticket holder.
